About
A crew of locals. Not a booking site.
Sargi is a small beach village in Serra Grande, on Bahia’s Costa do Cacau — the stretch between Itacaré and Ilhéus where the Atlantic Forest runs right down to the sand and the Rio do Sargi meets the sea. It faces east, so the sun comes up out of the ocean. Most people sleep through it.
This site is run by a few of us who live here — locals and long-settled transplants — and by the hosts who lead each experience. Nobody here is a tour operator. When you send a request, it lands on a real person’s phone: the host named on that listing. They reply to you directly, usually on WhatsApp.
How it works. You propose a day. The host says yes, suggests another, or tells you honestly that the sea or the wind won’t allow it. Nothing is charged on this site. Prices are on request and agreed with the host.
What we don’t do. We don’t sell what we haven’t lived. The guest notes on the site are from people who gave explicit permission to be named; until an experience has those, you’ll see the host’s own words instead — never invented reviews, never placeholder stars.
